There's more than just 10cc differentiating these bikes

Hero Xpulse 200 is a rather simple off-road oriented bike that does the basics perfectly.

In comparison, the Xpulse 210 feels more modern. It's more than just the engines that differentiate these bikes. If you are confused between them, here are top 5 differences:

Engine

The Xpulse 200 4V has a 199.6cc air and oil-cooled engine. This produces 18.9PS at 8,000rpm and 17.35Nm at 6,500rpm.

On the other hand, the Xpulse 210 has a 210cc liquid-cooled engine. It produces 24.6PS at 9,250rpm and 20.7Nm at 7,250rpm.

Gearbox and Clutch

The Xpulse 200 can feel a bit slow on the highway because of the way it's geared. The five-speed gearbox is smooth, but restricts its top speed.

The Xpulse 210 has a six-speed gearbox which improves this. Also, it has a slip-and-assist clutch that makes gearshifts easier, and prevents rear wheel lock-up when quickly downshifting.

Suspension

The Xpulse 200 4V base variant has a 37mm fork with 190mm wheel travel and a monoshock with 170mm wheel travel. The mid and top variants have 37mm fully adjustable front suspension with 250mm wheel travel, and 10-step preload adjustable monoshock with 220mm wheel travel.

The Xpulse 210 has a 41mm front fork with 210mm wheel travel, and a 10-step monoshock with 205mm wheel travel

Seat Height and Ground Clearance

The Xpulse 200 4V seat height and ground clearance differs between the variants because of the suspension. The base variant has seat height of 825mm and ground clearance of 220mm. The mid and top variants have a seat height of 885mm and a ground clearance of 270mm.

The Xpulse 210 has the same ground clearance as the base variant of Xpulse 200 4V, but a seat height of 830mm.

ABS

Both the bikes get switchable ABS and 3 ABS modes: Road, Off-road and Rally. However, the Xpulse 200 4V gets single-channel ABS in all variants, while the Xpulse 210 top variant gets dual-channel ABS.
