If you've been going through the same dilemma, here's which colour you should go for:

Atlantic Blue - The easiest to recommend

Just look at this colour, it's so handsome. The rich blue shade on the tank gives the bike a slightly classy look while the orange bits on the tank extensions and side panels remind you that this is still a KTM: a mad, orange bike. This blue colour adds a touch of sophistication to what is a loud and aggressive but also polarising-looking bike.

In some ways, the Atlantic Blue gives you the best of both worlds and that's why it's the easiest to recommend of the two.

Black - If Batman rode the 390 Duke

The black colourway takes things the opposite way. The 390 Duke is an aggressive and eye-catching bike in itself so if you want to add a layer of stealth to it, it doesn't get better than this colour. The blacked-out treatment on the tank and side panels look beautiful while the orange background to the black '390' badging on the tank keeps its Duke DNA alive.

The Duke looks good in this colourway as well and if you like a bit of stealthy touch, you will quite like this.

Gun Metal Grey - A bit too understated

Grey isn't something that looks fantastic on bikes, especially so on sporty nakeds. It's a bit too understated and the grey on the tank just doesn't sit as well as the above two. The mixture of orange and grey also just doesn't look as cohesive as it does with the above 2 colourways and we think this is the last colour someone getting an aggressive-looking bike would want.

To sum things up, Atlantic Blue would be our pick of the two, while the black colour is a close second. Gun Metal Grey, meanwhile, is too quiet for a sporty, futuristic streetfighter. These things said, we're surprised the 350cc KTM 390 Duke isn't offered in an all-orange colour scheme, staying true to its Duke heritage.
