At first glance, they may look similar, but there are some key differences. Here's a detailed comparison between these retro bikes.
Design

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and Classic 350 share the same platform but notably differ in terms of the overall styling. The Bullet 350 carries a rugged, old-school charm with its edgy rear fender, different tail light, single-piece seat, and hand-painted pinstripes that highlight its vintage identity.

In comparison, the Classic 350 offers a more refined, premium appeal with rounded fenders, oval side covers, a split-seat setup, and a wider range of exciting color options. While the Bullet is more towards a minimalist, utilitarian vibe, the Classic emphasizes elegance and sophistication in its retro design.
Engine

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and Classic 350 share the same J-series 349cc, single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled engine that makes 20.2PS at 6,100rpm and 27Nm at 4,000rpm. It comes paired to a 5-speed gearbox. This means their performance and refinement levels are essentially identical, offering smoother power delivery and less vibration compared to the older UCE engines.

Where they differ is not in the engine itself but the overall experience. Both deliver a relaxed and thumpy ride, with linear power delivery, strong midrange and enough grunt to cruise with ease out on the highway.
Underpinnings

These two Royal Enfield 350s share the same underpinnings as well, built on the J-series double cradle frame with 41 mm telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Both bikes get a 19-inch front and an 18-inch rear wheel setup with a 100 section front and a 120-section rear tyre. Both get a 300mm front and a 270mm rear disc brake setup with options of a single or dual channel ABS.

At 195kg (kerb), both of these bikes weigh exactly the same, get the same 805mm seat height, 170mm of ground clearance and a 13-litre fuel tank.
Features

Both of these motorcycles share the same instrument cluster which uses an analogue speedometer and a digital inset which shows odometer reading, two trip meters, fuel level and an eco mode indicator. Both bikes also come with a USB charging port.

The Bullet 350 and Classic 350 can also be opted with a slightly more premium feature set with an optional Tripper Navigation pod, which supports smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation. The Classic gets an LED headlight but with halogen tail light and indicators, while the Bullet gets all halogen lights. The higher variants of the Classic 350 also come with adjustable levers.

There is a noticeable difference between the entry-level pricing of the Bullet 350 and the Classic 350, and the same applies to their top-spec models as well with a difference of Rs 20,628 and 14,506 respectively. Also, there are multiple other variants for the customers to choose from for the customers based on paint schemes and some features.
Mechanically, there are no major differences between these two bikes, making styling the key deciding factor for most buyers. Additionally, only the Classic 350's Stealth Black and Gunmetal Grey variants come equipped with alloy wheels, offering the added convenience of tubeless tyres for a more hassle-free ride.
