Honda Shine 125 outsold the Bajaj Pulsar 125s and the TVS Raider 125 combined!
The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has released the sales numbers for the month of October 2025. There have been some interesting changes in the sales of 125cc motorcycles this time around.
Here's our detailed list of the top 5 best selling 125cc bikes:
Honda Shine 125
Month | Units Sold |
October 2025 | 1,44,372 |
September 2025 | 1,56,613 |
October 2024 | 1,58,471 |
The Honda Shine 125 still tops the charts, once again selling more than the 2nd and 3rd best sellers combined. While it still remains the king, its sales performance this year isn't as good as the previous year, despite the bike becoming cheaper during the festive season, thanks to the GST 2.0 norms. Month-on-month sales compared to September 2025 have also dropped by 8.4 percent.
Perhaps it's high time Honda updates the Shine to keep it a bit fresher. That said, one cannot deny the fact that it's reliable, refined, and offers great mileage - a truly no-nonsense 125cc commuter.
Bajaj Pulsar 125s
Month | Units Sold |
October 2025 | 87,562 |
September 2025 | 91,743 |
October 2024 | 68,511 |
The Bajaj Pulsar 125 lineup includes the Bajaj Pulsar 125, the Bajaj Pulsar N125 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS125. Similar to the Shine, the Pulsar lineup has seen a slight decline in sales compared to September.
Recently, the brand had updated the Pulsar NS125 with ABS modes, making it more competitive compared to rivals. Hopefully, this should help in recording better sales in November. If you're wondering how the bike stacks up against the Pulsar N125, you can check out our comparison here. The Pulsar range's strength in numbers have helped secure second place. What's more, Bajaj plans to launch another Pulsar, possibly a 125cc bike, by the end of this month.
TVS Raider
Month | Units Sold |
October 2025 | 56,085 |
September 2025 | 41,753 |
October 2024 | 51,153 |
The TVS Raider stands out as the premium 125cc commuter from the Hosur-based manufacturer. Compared to the previous month's sales, the Raider has seen a massive sales increase of 34.3 percent (month-on-month).
We think this increase in sales is likely due to the launch of the new premium variants, with dual-channel ABS among other new features. If you're considering getting the TVS Raider 125, then our ultimate buying guide will give you all the necessary details about the bike.
Hero Glamour Range
Month | Units Sold |
October 2025 | 28,823 |
September 2025 | 30,140 |
October 2024 | 24,356 |
The Hero Glamour range includes the Hero Glamour 125, the Hero Glamour 125 Xtec and the Hero Glamour X 125. The Glamour range has seen a sales decline of 4.3 percent month-on-month.
Though the drop isn't substantial, it's still surprising considering the Glamour, with the recent update, is one of the most feature-packed 125cc commuter.
Hero Xtreme 125R
Month | Units Sold |
October 2025 | 24,582 |
September 2025 | 21,184 |
October 2024 | 39,735 |
The Hero Xtreme 125R has seen an increase of 16 percent in month-on-month sales. But when looking at the bigger picture, the brand has seen a massive decline of 38.1 percent in year-on-year sales. Although the sales numbers for October 2025 are decent, it is still nothing compared to what the bike was raking in last year.
That said, Hero recently updated it with dual-channel ABS and cruise control. So expect the sales numbers to get better in the following months.
