Not 1, not 2, but as many as 5 bikes could be launched
Triumph India has sent in a block-your-date for April 6. This comes in just after the 350cc Triumph Speed T4 was spotted testing. The brand might just launch the Speed 350, Scrambler 350, Thruxton 350, Tracker 350 and the 350cc version of the Speed T4.
These bikes will fall under the 18% GST rate slab, which should reduce their price as compared to the 400cc models, which come in the 40% GST bracket. We can expect a drop of about Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 in the on-road price.
That said, there might be a slight drop in performance as well with the reduced engine capacity. However, the underpinnings and feature set might just be similar to the current models. If you are interested in getting your hands on these bikes as soon as they launch, you might be able to book them unofficially.
