Karuna Pandey, who essays the role of Pushpa, shared, 'This entire courtroom sequence is very emotional because Pushpa has been fighting for justice for Prarthana, and when the verdict comes, it is not something anyone expects. Since Shanaya is underage, the court decides on 'ghar jail', where she has to live under Pushpa's supervision, and that creates a very complex situation for Pushpa as a mother and as someone who believes in justice. While shooting this sequence, I kept thinking about how difficult it must be for Pushpa to live with someone who reminds her of such a deep loss. As an actor, portraying that balance of grief and inner strength during the ghar jail sequence is very moving for me.'
