Anita Raj, who plays the role of Dadisa in Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which is produced under his banner Director's Kut Production, is happy to showcase the vibrant and rich traditions of the Gangaur festival through the show.

She said, "It feels truly special and meaningful. Gangaur is deeply rooted in our culture and holds immense emotional value, especially for women."

She believes the sincerity and detailing with which Gangaur is presented makes the track stand out. She said, "Every element, be it the costumes, rituals, music, or set design, is carefully planned. More importantly, the festival is not just visually appealing but also emotionally driven, becoming an integral part of the storyline and character journeys."

Anita stressed the need for it to be authentic and said, "The audience today is very aware and appreciates when traditions are shown correctly. We make sure to respect the rituals, customs, and sentiments associated with the festival so that it resonates genuinely with viewers."

She feels that showcasing festivals like Gangaur helps audiences reconnect with Indian traditions and cultural roots. She said, "Television has a strong influence, and when we showcase festivals like Gangaur in their true essence, it reminds audiences of their roots. It also introduces younger generations to traditions they may not be fully aware of, helping keep our culture alive."

And she mentioned that though these tracks come with their own challenges, they are nonetheless very rewarding. She said, "Every festive sequence comes with its own set of challenges, especially when it involves large-scale setups and detailed rituals. Coordinating everything-from performances to technical aspects-can be demanding, but it's also very rewarding. The energy on set during such sequences is always festive, making the experience memorable for the entire team."

She credited Rajan Shahi for bringing such tracks in the most real and relatable manner. "That philosophy is strongly reflected in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
