Let us tell you that Aditya Dhar shared a statement on social media on Thursday about an AI-created image, writing, "I am deeply grateful and indebted to the audiences across the country and the world for the overwhelming love that Dhurandhar The Revenge has received. However, I have come to know that some people are using Artificial Intelligence to alter the officially released promotional material, creating false and misleading narratives, and spreading altered visuals. In one such fabricated image, Hamza/Jaskirat is wrongly depicted wearing a turban and smoking a cigarette."

Continuing his statement, Aditya Dhar further said, "This is completely false and is not part of the film or any official material released by us. This is a deliberate misrepresentation intended to provoke and cause mischief. I want to state clearly that I have immense respect for the Sikh community and every character in the film has been portrayed with utmost sensitivity, respect, and responsibility. Any attempt to imply otherwise through manipulated content is malicious and dishonest. I urge the audience to trust only the official content and watch the film as it is intended, and not fall prey to the misinformation being spread by AI with malicious intent. Such acts will be dealt with strictly."

There was also controversy regarding R Madhavan's scene.
