This action thriller has been performing exceptionally well at the box office since its release, breaking records. Meanwhile, in an interview, Suvinder Vicky revealed that Aditya Dhar used abusive language in the script that would not be censored by the Central Board of Film Certification, giving the film's language a distinct and realistic touch.

The story of "Dhurandhar 2" centers on Ranveer Singh's character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, aka Hamza Ali Mazari. The sequel begins with a flashback to Jaskirat's early life in Punjab, India. We see how he came to the attention of IB chief Ajay Sanyal and the circumstances that led him from Jaskirat to Hamza. The film then picks up where "Dhurandhar Part 1" left off. After killing Rehman Daku, Hamza sets his sights on power in Lyari, Pakistan. He targets every enemy who has harmed India, whether it's Major Iqbal of the ISI, the Khanani brothers, SP Aslam, or "Bade Saheb," who is said to be inspired by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. The film traces Hamza's journey from an agent to a man seeking revenge, as he sets out to eliminate anyone who conspired against India.
