Nidarshan Govani and Ramesh Govani have been actively involved in social service through their Kamla Trust. Recently, they organized a grand mass wedding ceremony where several renowned personalities were present.
To celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in a special way, they arranged the wedding of 25 underprivileged tribal couples.
Instead of hosting a lavish party, they decided to give back to society. From wedding attire and gifts for the bride and groom to the complete wedding arrangements and grand dinner, every detail was thoughtfully managed. This noble initiative was named 'Kanya Sneh Bandhan.' The Govani family not only solemnized these marriages but also provided the couples with essential resources to help them become self-reliant and lead a stable life.
Manoj Tiwari and His Wife Shared Their Thoughts
On this occasion, Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari and his wife said that they have completed 25 years of married life and wanted to celebrate their silver jubilee in a unique way. They shared that while people usually celebrate such occasions with parties, they wanted to make this milestone memorable for society. This thought inspired them to organize the collective wedding of 25 underprivileged girls.
They further said that many of these girls are either orphaned or come from financially weak families who cannot afford marriage expenses. After proper documentation and verification, these girls were selected for the initiative. They emphasized that their goal was not only to conduct the weddings but also to make these daughters self-reliant by providing sewing machines and employment-related support.
They added that money should be used to help those in need rather than for showmanship. Through Kamla Trust, they continue to work in the fields of women's education, health, skill development, HPV vaccination and other social causes.

Several noted celebrities from the entertainment industry were also part of this special occasion. Actors Jackie Shroff, Vishal Jethwa and Rakhi Sawant attended the event and appreciated this noble initiative. Their presence added glamour to the ceremony and made the event even more memorable.
