Even after the reality show The 50 has ended, the clash between Rajat Dalal and Prince Narula continues to make headlines. In a recent media interaction, Rajat opened up about his journey, alliances, fellow contestants, and the controversies surrounding the show.

You stayed in 'The 50' till the very end. How was your journey on the show?
My journey was really great. I believe that even years later, when people remember the show, there will be moments that will make them laugh. I'm happy that I played my game well and managed to do what I had set out to do. Towards the end, things changed a bit, but that's okay.
In the beginning, no one knew how the game would be played. From day one, I had said that I came alone and would play alone. Whatever happened inside, I stood by it. I gave my best till the end and took every opportunity to prove myself.
How do you see Prince Narula's alliance?
If I speak honestly, the people in Prince's alliance were strong, but they couldn't create their own individual identity. Somewhere, Prince overshadowed them.

You said you were playing alone, but you had people supporting you. What would you say about that?
I maintained from the start that I would play alone. Whoever stood by me, I stood by them. But if someone went against me, I had to sideline them. This isn't a show about brotherhood. If someone has to be eliminated, it has to be done. Emotionally, it does affect you a little, but decisions in the game have to be made with logic.
You mentioned that Prince was scared of you. Why did you say that?
If from the beginning it was 'Rajat vs Prince' and in the end he stepped back, then I have the right to say he left the game. If he had clarified earlier, it would have been different. We were both living our own lives. Whenever there was a fight involving him, I was the one who stepped in and handled the situation.

Prince gave the finale ticket to another contestant. How do you see that?
In my opinion, if he had to step away, he should have made it clear earlier. Leaving at the last moment and handing over the ticket didn't feel right. If you're not there to win, then what's the point of coming on the show?
Questions were raised about your behavior with female contestants. What do you have to say?
My team had strong players, and everyone was playing their own game. If there were arguments, they were purely part of the game-nothing personal. Emotions run high in such environments, but there was never any ill intent in my heart. Even in the opposing team, no one really spoke against me.

Your name was linked with a fellow contestant, and she spoke about it outside. Your reaction?
I would just say that she speaks and acts according to her own perspective. I cannot control what someone says or does. Whatever happened inside the show was part of the game. If someone creates a different narrative outside, I can't do much about it. I've always stood by what I felt was right.
There were accusations that you got into unnecessary fights and showed anger. What would you say?
I don't think I was ever part of unnecessary fights. Everyone has their own way of playing the game, and I followed mine. If people keep holding on to the same things repeatedly, I can't help that. I did what I believed was right and necessary for the game.
What would you like to say about the trolling on social media?
Trolling has never affected me, and it won't in the future either. I don't focus on negativity. I always try to look at the positive side.
Any message for your fans?
I just want to say-whenever life gives you an opportunity, grab it. Not everyone gets a second chance every time. When you do, don't let it go. I got my chance, took the leap, and accepted whatever came my way.
