Tsutomu Shibayama:Renowned anime director Tsutomu Shibayama has passed away at the age of 84. He had been battling lung cancer for a long time and finally breathed his last on March 6 (Tsutomu Shibayama Death).

Born in Tokyo in 1941, Tsutomu Shibayama directed 22 Doraemon feature films and served as series director for the 1979 TV anime for over 20 years.
