Alembic Pharmaceuticals has incorporated a subsidiary in Thailand named Alembic Pharmaceuticals (Thailand) Co., Ltd, according to a regulatory filing on 9 March 2026. The company holds 99.99% shareholding in the newly formed entity.
The Thai subsidiary has been established with a share capital of Baht 3,000,000 (Three Million Baht), divided into 3,00,000 shares of Baht 10 each. The entity is yet to commence business operations, with turnover currently at nil.
The subsidiary has been incorporated to explore new business opportunities in Thailand and to promote, sale and distribute pharmaceutical products of Alembic Pharmaceuticals in the geography. The incorporation was made through investment in the share capital by the company, with no additional regulatory approvals required for the transaction.
