Fans can't seem to contain themselves for Season 4 of Ginny & Georgia! In addition to continuing to blow viewers' minds with shocking mother/daughter discoveries, small town scandalous secrets, sudden unplanned pregnancies, the return of childhood trauma they thought was long buried, and the use of cliffhangers (which will leave viewers on the edge of their seats), this season will begin in Toronto and has wrapped filming late 2025. The show will feature many of its original cast members as well as some brand-new cast members who will play major roles within the series.
Ginny & Georgia Season 4: Release Details
Season 4 production started late 2025 (the official announcement came late October/November 2025) and then completed early March 2026 (with member cast member Antonia Gentry posting wrap-up details between March 6 & 7, 2026). Currently, the series is in post-production.
Netflix hasn't yet given an official premiere date for the series. The series was not included amongst Netflix's "Next on Netflix 2026" preview podcasts, which increases speculation that there won't be a premiere for the series until 2027 (possibly early 2027) following the end of post-production. Previous reports indicated that the series could have premiered as late as 2026. As of March 2026, other updates have mostly indicated that the series will not premiere until 2027. Expect an official announcement and trailer from Netflix shortly, likely shortly before being available for consumption.
The series received renewals for both seasons 3 and 4 in May 2023. While the season 4 had already been greenlit far in advance of actual filming completion.

Ginny & Georgia Season 4: Plot Details
Georgia manages to avoid being charged with murder due to manipulation by her kids, who framed Gil because of all the trauma that they caused. Following the intense Season 3 finale, Season 4 begins with the family trying to normalize life while dealing with the aftermath of the Season 3 finale's trauma. From all the trauma that they caused, Ginny and Austin are left with emotional scars, guilt, and the repercussions of their actions.
Teases from the creators and cast:
- Georgia will finally address her behaviour and break the cycle by going to therapy as well.
- Ginny and Austin will carry the weight of covering up for their mother and have sobering moments regarding how Georgia's choices impacted them.
- The season will focus on «Cycles and Origins» through Georgia's extended family history, as well as how the childhood behaviours originated, and more family chaos.
- Georgia's pregnancy from the Season 3 cliffhanger will be a focus this season. There are questions about who the father is and how it will affect family dynamics (Paul? Joe? Someone?).
- Expect a continuation of the drama with relationships (Ginny/Marcus, teen storylines), secrets, legal as well as emotional tensions, and a mixture of dramatic, comedic elements, family issues, twists that the show has become known for.
The creators (Sarah Lampert) and showrunner (Sarah Glinski) plan on addressing the burdens of the children and how they change the dynamics of the family. An official synopsis has not yet been released.
