Kirloskar Oil Engines has announced significant changes in its leadership structure. Mr. Atul Kirloskar, who has served as the Chairman and Non-Executive Director, will step down from his position at the close of business on 31st March 2026. He has expressed his desire not to renew his term as Chairman and has tendered his resignation as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, citing retirement as he reaches the age of 70.
Following this development, the Board of Directors, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, has approved the appointment of Mr. Rahul Kirloskar as the new Chairman of the company. Mr. Rahul Kirloskar, who is currently serving as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, will assume the role of Chairman effective from 1st April 2026.
Additionally, the company has designated Ms. Gauri Kirloskar as the Vice-Chairperson, effective from 1st April 2026. She was re-appointed as the Managing Director during the Annual General Meeting held on 7th August 2025, with her term commencing from 20th May 2025 for a period of three years. Her terms of remuneration remain unchanged.
