He has been diagnosed with early on-set Alzheimer's disease which starts to bring down the wall that separates both sides of his life and puts his family in danger as well as exposes his secrets. The story combines thriller elements with emotional drama around the themes of memory loss and identity and the conflicts of morality.

Season 1 culminated in a finale titled "Exposed" where Angelo's secrets come under extreme pressure due to multiple forces converging upon him. Co-showrunner Aaron Zelman gave us a glimpse into early ideas for Season 2 which could include:
