MOIL increases manganese ore prices by up to 17.5% for April 2026

MOIL has announced an increase in the prices of its manganese ore products, effective from 1 April 2026. The company has revised the prices of different grades of manganese ore, aligning with its business practice of periodic price adjustments.

The prices of all Ferro grades of manganese ore with a manganese content of 44% and above have been increased by 15%. This adjustment is based on the prices that have been in effect since 1 March 2026. Similarly, the prices of all other Ferro grades of manganese ore with manganese content below 44% have seen a 17.5% increase.

Additionally, the prices for SMGR (Mn-30%), SMGR (Mn-25%), and Fines grades have also been raised by 17.5%. Chemical grades have experienced a similar 17.5% price hike. These changes are applicable from midnight of 31 March 2026 to 1 April 2026, specifically for the month of April.

The basic price for Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide (EMD) remains unchanged at ₹1,80,000 per metric tonne for April 2026, continuing from the prevailing rates since 1 March 2026.
