SML Mahindra reported steady growth in its sales performance for March 2026, reflecting strong demand across both cargo and passenger vehicle segments.
In March 2026, the company recorded total sales of 2,457 units, marking a 6% increase compared to 2,315 units sold in March 2025. The growth was driven by consistent demand in the passenger vehicle category, alongside stable performance in cargo vehicles.
Cargo vehicle sales stood at 606 units during the month, slightly higher than 594 units in the same period last year, translating to a 2% growth. Meanwhile, passenger vehicle sales saw a stronger uptick, rising 8% year-on-year to 1,851 units from 1,721 units.
For the full financial year April 2025 to March 2026 (FY26), SML Mahindra posted a significant rise in overall volumes. Total sales reached 16,632 units, up 17% from 14,221 units in FY25.
The cargo segment emerged as a key growth driver over the year, with sales climbing 28% to 5,412 units compared to 4,215 units in the previous fiscal. Passenger vehicle sales also showed healthy momentum, increasing 12% to 11,220 units from 10,006 units year-on-year.
