TCS Q4 FY26 Results: Stock trades flat ahead of results, all eyes on dividend and CC revenue growth

Business Upturn 2 weeks ago

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) shares were trading largely flat ahead of its Q4 FY26 results today, as investors remained cautious with focus firmly on key triggers such as constant currency (CC) revenue growth and dividend announcement.

At the time of reporting, TCS shares were trading at ₹2,566.30, up ₹7.10 or 0.28% on the NSE. The stock opened at ₹2,554 and touched an intraday high of ₹2,578.20 and a low of ₹2,531.10. The stock remains under pressure on a longer-term basis, having declined around 22% over the past one year.

Street expectations suggest a modest quarter, with analysts estimating revenue at around ₹69,370 crore compared to ₹67,087 crore in the previous quarter. Profit is seen at ₹13,727.6 crore versus ₹10,657 crore, while EBIT is estimated at ₹17,603 crore with margins expected at 25.4%, slightly higher than 25.2% in Q3. In dollar terms, revenue is pegged at approximately $7,619.5 million.

Analysts expect constant currency revenue growth to remain muted at around 1%, with incremental support likely coming from inorganic contributions of 30-40 basis points from acquisitions. Margin expansion is expected to be aided by currency tailwinds and operating leverage, although headwinds such as higher variable pay and senior-level promotions may limit upside.

Valuation comfort has started to emerge in the stock, with TCS currently trading at around 15-16x FY28 estimated earnings, significantly lower than its historical ranges of 20-22x pre-COVID and nearly 28-32x during post-COVID highs.

While valuations appear attractive, the key question remains whether the Q4 results and management commentary can act as a catalyst for a meaningful re-rating in the stock. Investors will also closely track the company's dividend announcement, which has historically been a key driver of sentiment.

Stay tuned for live updates on TCS Q4 FY26 results, dividend announcement and management commentary.
