Young couple Samira and Rob are facing challenges created by their confusion about the neighbours in their ideal neighbourhood, Hinkley Hills. The second season, which will continue to develop the neighbourhood's secrets, humorous characters, emotional humour, increasing HOA recruitment conspiracy theories, and unresolved cliffhangers from the exciting first season's Final Episode, will soon be released, following a Successful Launch with Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall as stars, in February 2026.

The 'Burbs Season 2: Renewal Status

As of the beginning of March 2026, Peacock has not yet confirmed a second season of the series.

The first season was released on February 8, 2026, with all eight episodes debuting simultaneously.

After becoming available to stream, the show rose to first place on Peacock, achieving almost 1 billion minutes viewed in the first 11 days after release.

Currently, it has a 78% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is considered certified fresh.

The show's creator has already developed a pitch for a second season, providing evidence that season one was created to continue the story.

The 'Burbs Season 2: Release Date

No official release date exists yet because Season 2 has not been renewed.

If renewal happens soon, production could begin later in 2026.

A potential premiere window would likely be early 2027.

The 'Burbs Season 2: Plot Details

The 'Burbs will be getting a more modern version than what Tom Hanks had with the original movie. This series will be about Samira and Rob moving to the strange neighbourhood of Hinkley Hills with their new baby, and the odd landscapes, odd neighbours, hidden secrets and eventually connect them to the secrets of the Homeowners Association, who may or may not be the cause behind all these things.

The show concludes with several "cliffhangers" alone, such as Naveen being trapped in his vehicle's trunk and unresolved mysteries within the neighbourhood.

If the show does continue for the second season, then it will follow the same continuity as before and still reveal mysteries and secrets in the community and, of course, with Hinkley Hills.
