At this point, Season 2 of All of Us Are Dead has no set release date on Netflix yet; however, it has been predicted to premiere sometime in late 2026 or, more likely, in early 2027. Filming started in July 2025 after table reads and ended around February 19, 2026, wrapping up approximately seven months of filming.

Currently, the series is in post-production, which requires significant computer-generated effects for zombies, action sequences, and other effects like the first season, and will likely follow a similar production timeline to the previous season. It also did not appear in Netflix's confirmed list of 2026 Korean series, making a more realistic estimate of when to expect the new season is early 2027.

Season 2 picks up years after the outbreak of the Jonas Virus at Hyosang High School. Survivors, including Nam On-jo (now a college student at Seoul National University), continue to deal with the trauma left by the outbreak. They soon have to deal with yet another outbreak of the Jonas Virus, which results in a new group of survivors having to fight for their lives against new, evolved threats, hybrid creatures, and even more chaos than in the first outbreak. Many characters from Season 1 will have dramatically different lives, including those returning characters, who may have changed lives or encountered changes in their lives since we last saw them (e.g., Cheong San).

Returning actors include Park Ji Hu (Nam On-jo), Yoon Chan Young (Lee Cheong San), Cho Yi Hyun (Choi Nam Ra), and Lomon/Park Solomon (Lee Su Hyeok). New cast members include Lee Min Jae (Ma Ru- On-jo's university friend), Kim Si Eun (Ju Ram), Roh Jae Won (Han Du Seok-NIS Team Leader), and more will join.

Hit 2022 Season 1 was a worldwide phenomenon, generating tremendous amounts of viewing time. With more volume, additions of things to blow up, and even more survivors in Season 2, it will be thrilling! Check out the first season on Netflix as you wait for teasers or an official announcement for when to expect Season 2's premiere. Expect seasons to be delayed since many K-Dramas have heavy VFX, so follow along with Netflix Tudum or other formal channels for updates as they happen.
