The airline will operate five weekly flights from Sunday to Thursday using Boeing 777 aircraft.

The service will be operated as Flight AI139 from Delhi to Tel Aviv, departing at 5 am and arriving at 8:30 am. The return flight, AI140, will depart Tel Aviv at 10:30 am and reach Delhi at 7:45 pm.

The resumption will make Air India the only airline operating non-stop flights between India and Israel, according to the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The restored connection is expected to improve travel access and support tourism ties between the two countries.

India was a significant source market for Israel before the pandemic, with nearly 70,000 Indian visitors travelling to the country annually. The Israeli tourism ministry is also expanding engagement with Indian travel agents and media through training, webinars and familiarisation programmes.
