President Droupadi Murmu has arrived in North Macedonia, marking the first-ever visit by an Indian President to the country.
The historic visit is part of President Murmu's three-nation state visit to Moldova, North Macedonia and Romania from July 19 to 25, 2026. Her North Macedonia visit is scheduled for July 21-22.
During the visit, President Murmu is expected to hold bilateral talks with North Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, meet Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and the President of the Assembly, and address the country's national parliament.
She will also participate in the India-North Macedonia Business Forum, with discussions expected to focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding economic ties.
The historic visit marks a significant step in India's engagement with North Macedonia and reflects New Delhi's growing diplomatic outreach across Central and Eastern Europe.
