Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared another selfie-style video on social media, thanking young people for their response and suggestions following his earlier message on the NEET paper leak issue and examination reforms.
The Prime Minister said he received several positive and insightful suggestions from viewers after his previous video, which gained widespread attention online. He expressed gratitude to young people for engaging with the issue and sharing their views.
In his latest video, Modi thanked viewers for their support and said their feedback would help strengthen the connection between the government and citizens.
The video comes a day after his earlier selfie video on examination reforms went viral on social media, receiving millions of views and significantly increasing engagement on his platforms. His Instagram account also crossed 102 million followers during this period.
In the previous video, the Prime Minister addressed concerns over the NEET-UG paper leak controversy and acknowledged the difficulties faced by students and parents. He said the government had taken action against those responsible and was working to ensure students' academic years were not affected.
Following the widespread discussions around exam irregularities, the government announced stricter measures to prevent paper leaks. The Union Cabinet approved amendments to the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, proposing stronger punishments, faster investigations and tougher action against those involved in examination fraud.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has also started reforms aimed at improving the transparency and reliability of competitive examinations. These steps are part of efforts to rebuild confidence among students and strengthen India's examination system.
