Prakash Raj is in Trouble as a cheque of Rs. 2 crores bounces
The popular production house called Essel Vision seemed to knock the doors of the courts when they got a cheque from the actor Prakash Raj worth two crores and it bounced. The case against the actor was made by the production house alleging that he did not pay the company on time despite taking their services. The film has Ali Fazal, Taapsee Pannu, and Nana Patekar called Tadka.
Also, we saw Ali Fazal visiting the social media and informed all that the actors are yet to get the payment for the said film. As per them, the actor Prakash Raj who has signed on the undertaking was supposed to clear the amount of Rs. 5.88 crores to the production house by the end of 15th July. When the case reached to the court, JR Sriram the justice warned the actor for getting bounced. He said if it happens then he has to face the punishment.
During the earlier hearings in April, the actor Prakash Raj had agreed to pay the said amount along with the applicable taxes by said date. He has even agreed to the fact that he would recover the rest of the amount by selling his personal properties seeking the help of his lawyer. Now, Prakash has given the fresh cheque yesterday and has agreed to pay the rest of the money by February 2020. The actor has to also attend the hearing on 30th August just to ensure that his cheque gives the money to the production house.
