For the national capital, the IMD has forecast a generally cloudy sky along with the possibility of rainfall throughout the day.

The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to remain between 33°C and 35°C, while the minimum temperature is likely to hover around 25°C to 27°C.

Intermittent showers are expected to provide relief from humid weather conditions but may also lead to traffic delays and waterlogging in low-lying areas. Municipal authorities have been directed to ensure proper functioning of drainage systems to minimise flooding during heavy spells of rain.

Monsoon Remains Active Across the Country

The current weather pattern reflects an active phase of the southwest monsoon, with moisture-laden winds from both the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal continuing to influence weather systems across India.
