India A will travel to Sri Lanka for the upcoming seven-match ODI tri-series featuring the host nation and Afghanistan A. The tournament is scheduled to start from June 9 and will continue till June 21, 2026, with all the games lined up at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla.
Each team will face the other two sides twice across six league contests. The two top teams will qualify for the final on June 21. Two points will be awarded for a win, while in the case of a no-result, the two sides will get one point each. Tilak Varma is the captain of the India A squad, and the eyes will be on the 15-year-old sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
The bilateral series had no broadcasting channel on board, but the presence of IPL 2026 Orange Cap winner Sooryavanshi changed everything, with Sony Sports agreeing to show the matches live.
