Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star signing Cameron Green got out for just 2 runs after a big mix-up with Angkrish Raghuvanshi during their IPL 2026 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Eden Gardens on April 2. At first, it looked like Raghuvanshi was run out, and he even started walking back to the pavilion.
But replays later showed that it was actually Cameron Green who was out. KKR badly needed a strong partnership after losing captain Ajinkya Rahane early in the fifth over. In the last over of the powerplay, Raghuvanshi hit the ball straight back, and it struck bowler Eshan Malinga's boot.
Thinking the ball would go away, Raghuvanshi called for a run. Green, who wasn't looking at the ball, started running immediately. But the ball stayed close to the bowler, who quickly picked it up and broke the stumps. Both batters got stuck in the middle of the pitch. Raghuvanshi thought he was out since he was closer to the stumps and started walking off in frustration.
However, the third umpire checked the replay and found that the batters hadn't crossed each other. Because of that, Cameron Green was actually the one out, even though he seemed safe at first. In a strange twist, Raghuvanshi was called back to continue batting, while Green had to leave the field.

Cameron Green hasn't had a great start at KKR. He got out quickly against Mumbai Indians and hasn't bowled even a single ball in the tournament yet.
Raghuvanshi hits classy half-century to guide KKR in run chase vs SRH.
After scoring a good fifty against MI at Wankhede, the young player has carried that form forward with another half-century, making it two in a row this season. He has also taken the Orange Cap.
Right now, KKR are well in the chase, with Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Rinku Singh batting together and more hitters still to come. KKR are 114/3 after 10.2 overs, reaching the halfway stage of the chase.
