Australia Women's A team is set to tour India for a multi-format series against the India Women's A cricket team. For the upcoming bilateral series, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced full squads across the formats for the upcoming bilateral series, involving two women's A cricket teams.
In the upcoming series, both teams will face each other in T20, ODI and multi-day matches. The series is scheduled to start on September 13 with the T20I series and will conclude on October 2.
India A and Australia A fixtures in detail
India A and Australia A teams will lock horns for three T20 matches, three 50-over matches and one multi-day game. The three-match Twenty20 series will run from September 12 to September 17, followed by the One-Day matches from September 20 to September 25, and the only multi-day match of the series is scheduled to start from September 29 and will end on October 2.

Who is Anushka Sharma?
Anushka Sharma has been named as the Women's A team's captain for the T20 format matches, with Sayali Satghare as her deputy. A year ago, during the players' auction for the Women's Premier League 2025-26 (WPL 2025-26) season, she first took the headlines because of her name. Anushka Sharma is a common known among Indian cricket fans and in the cine industry.
At that time, fans were excited to know who the cricketer Anushka Sharma is. She played well in the WPL 2025-26 season and later got to play several international matches for the India A cricket team. The emerging all-rounder played a few for the India Women's National Cricket Team as well in the shortest format of the game. The 23-year-old last played for the A-team in June this year against England in Chelmsford. Against Australia, Sharma will have to do better to stay relevant for selection.
For the other two formats of the series, the board has named Yastika Bhatia as the captain for the One-Day and multi-day format matches and Anushka Sharma as her deputy, in both of the formats.
