The drama started because of a lengthy celebratory Instagram post uploaded on March 9. This viral post was shared by Nicole Linhares Kedia, who worked very closely with the champion cricketer. The nutritionist penned a heartfelt gratitude note to celebrate the T20 World Cup 2026 victory, mentioning when she first joined the cricketer's dedicated support team to help him.
"Two years ago when I met HP for the first time, I could immediately sense that he wasn't just chasing a goal he was building a vision for himself. Little did I know then that I would humbly get to play a small part in that journey," Nicole Linhares Kedia wrote on her Instagram post.

The caption clearly said, "I met HP," which directly refers to Nicole herself, not Mahieka Sharma. The line states that Nicole first met Hardik around the year 2024 for professional reasons, debunking the ridiculous cheating theories floating on social media.
Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stanković publicly announced their mutual divorce on July 18, 2024. Pandya and Natasa continue to co-parent their son, Agastya, even after the divorce. He gifted his son a Land Rover Defender last month.
The star all-rounder and Mahieka Sharma were first seen together publicly only in late 2025. This public appearance happened over a year after the official divorce announcement was made.
