Royal Challengers Bangalore have successfully retained their title, having defeated Gujarat Titans in the summit clash. Now that the league has concluded, international players will return to their respective countries and turn their attention back to international cricket and other domestic tournaments.

The international cricket season has already begun with the Australia tour of Pakistan ODI series and the Red Ball circuit will commence as New Zealand make their way to England for a three match Test series. The Indian cricket team will not have a long gap as they play the lone Test and a three match ODI series against Afghanistan on the 6th of June.

India's cricket schedule throughout the year will not have any free space and right after Afghanistan series, Men in Blue will tour Ireland for two T20Is, following which the Indian team will face England for a significant white ball series involving five T20Is and three ODIs, followed by touringZimbabwe in July and playing home series against West Indies and Sri Lanka during the second half of the year.

Women's Cricket to be Put Under Spotlight
