In one of the shocking events in cricket, the Delhi Capitals (DC) lost their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 match against the Gujarat Titans (GT) by a bare margin of just 1-run.

<p style="margin-top: 0px;" > The DC choked badly and lost the match from a winning position where they had control in the last two overs. This also marked DC’s first loss of the season after winning their first two matches. </p><p>The star Proteas finisher, David Miller, played a spectacular innings but unfortunately failed to score two runs off the last two deliveries of Prasidh Krishna, and the match slipped away. The left-hander smashed 41 runs from 20 deliveries, but couldn’t take his team to the victory line.</p><p>Miller had almost dragged DC to the winning line after scoring 23 runs off the penultimate over from Mohammed Siraj. The equation had come down to 13 required from the last six deliveries. Prasidh Krishna came to bowl, and Vipraj Nigam smashed him for a boundary. He was dismissed on the second delivery of the 20th over. Kuldeep then gave Miller a single. Miller smashes for a six on the fourth delivery, and DC required two off the last two deliveries. The match was going easily, with the DC camp celebrating the victory as they had already seen it winning. Then one of the biggest brain-fade moments took place, and Miller denied a single to Kuldeep Yadav on the fifth ball, and let him face the final delivery.</p><nh-chunk-delimit />

<p>This bold call turned the tables for the Gujarat Titans. Miller missed the last delivery, and Kuldeep Yadav got run out at the striker&apos;s end. Despite having the command, DC suffered a 1-run loss in the match. </p><p>As soon as the match ended, DC skipper Axar Patel went straight up to Miller and consoled him. He was clearly devastated and shattered by this loss. </p><p>The DC then uploaded a clip of their dressing room interaction. The video was emotional to watch, where Miller was seen crying like a baby; he was just trying to control his emotions.
