Shubman Gill, the captain of Gujarat Titans, departed after scoring 43 runs in just 18 balls against Royals Challengers Bengaluru, thanks to a quick catch from Virat Kohli.
It happened in the fifth over when Bhuvneshwar Kumar was bowling. Bhuvneshwar trapped the GT batters nicely, giving just two runs in the over. In the sixth ball, Bhuvi bowled a back-of-length ball on the middle and leg.
Gill, trying to get a boundary, stepped out and hurled the ball. But Kohli, at the extra cover, took a quick catch. And what followed was pure aggression. He hurled the ball on the ground and ran around with peak Kohli-like aggression, doing high-fives with Devdutt Padikkal and others.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru are defending a very modest total of 155. And the despite a start GT got, the RCB fielders are not giving up at all. Even Kohli was seen chirping throughout, trying his best to unsettle Shubman. And it paid off.

Titans crush RCB in Ahmedabad
Gujarat Titans chased down 156 in just 15.5 overs (158/6), beating Royal Challengers Bengaluru by four wickets with 25 balls to spare at Narendra Modi Stadium. RCB were bowled out for 155 in 19.2 overs despite Devdutt Padikkal's 40 (24) and Virat Kohli's 28 (13). Rashid Khan (2/19) and Arshad Khan (3/22) led GT's bowling. In reply, Shubman Gill smashed 43 off 18, while Jos Buttler added 39 (19) as GT raced to 100 in 8.6 overs. Rahul Tewatia's unbeaten 27 (17) sealed the chase. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 3/28, while Jason Holder earned Player of the Match for his all-round effort (12, 2/29, 3 catches).
