Peshawar Zalmi produced a batting masterclass, piling up a massive 246/3 in 20 overs at an exceptional run rate of 12.30. After losing Mohammad Haris for a duck on just the second ball, skipper Babar Azam anchored the innings brilliantly with an unbeaten 87 off 51 balls, smashing 10 fours and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 170.58. The real game-changer, however, was Kusal Mendis. Their massive 191-run second-wicket partnership completely dominated the bowling attack. Late fireworks from Abdul Samad's unbeaten 40 off just 12 balls powered Zalmi to a daunting total, leaving the opposition bowlers helpless.
