Shah Rukh Khan sent a touching message to Sunil Narine on achieving an extraordinary milestone in the Indian Premier League.With over 200 wickets Sunil Narine became only the third bowler in the history of the Indian Premier League to reach this mark.
The 35-year-old achieved this landmark during KKR's game against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. To add more glory to the achievement Narine became the first ever to take 200 wickets for a single franchise in the IPL which signifies his immense contribution to the KKR franchise since his debut in 2012.
Following this incredible feat, SRK expressed his heartfelt thoughts for the veteran Windies spinner through his social media account, and wrote, "Sunil, my friend... Here's to 15 seasons... Over 200 wickets... 3 titles and many more with the @KKRiders franchise around the globe!!! You are a magician and we love you like our own family. Big hug for today and always... Be healthy and keep smiling!". The post has gone viral all across social media with fans pouring in their wishes.

Narine's feat displays his consistency with the ball.
Narine proved his dominance on the field, picking up his first wicket in the very same game, and later on he dismissed Ishan Kishan. He went onto finish with 2/31 as KKR managed to restrict SRH for 165 runs within 19 overs.
Narine became the first ever overseas bowler to take 200 wickets in the history of the IPL. His record clearly indicates the consistency and economy with which he bowls.
With the ball he has taken 200 wickets and has maintained a record economy rate of 6.79 among bowlers who have bowled more than 1800 deliveries in IPL. He stands ahead of all the modern greats like Dale Steyn (6.91), Harbhajan Singh (7.07), Lasith Malinga (7.14) and Rashid Khan (7.15).
Narine has been with the KKR franchise since 2012 and he has certainly developed into one of the most vital cogs in the machinery. Narine has already been named the most valuable player twice in the years 2012 and 2018 he was a vital part of KKR's winning campaign in 2012, 2014 and 2024 while his haul of 200 wickets just reiterates his consistency.
