JAMMU, May 19: Alexander Memorial School organised its annual students' Leadership Programme at the campus on Residency Road, Jammu.

Dr Kishor Sharma, Principal, Govt SRML Model Higher Secondary School, Jammu and Charu Anand, Principal, Govt Hari Singh Higher Secondary School, Jammu were the chief guests, while Sudershan Kumar Sharma and Hemanta Digal attended as guests of honour. Anuradha Singh and Anthony Ignatius were also present on the occasion.
The programme commenced with lighting of the ceremonial lamp and devotional presentations. School Administrator Esther William and Principal Marshlaw Khokhar welcomed the dignitaries and presented bouquets to them.
The chief guests formally handed over the school and house flags to the newly elected student leaders and decorated them with badges and sashes. The oath-taking ceremony was led by Head Boy Lavyam Sharma and Head Girl Khushi. The house captains included Sushil Sharma, Areeba, Samarth Sandhu, Janises, Ridham, Rafia Akhter, Riaz Ahmed and Cherry Sodhi.
Dr Kishor Sharma advised the student council members to perform their duties with honesty, integrity and dedication and become responsible citizens and good human beings. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Alka Mantoo followed by the national anthem played by the school band.
