JAMMU, Sept 12: Director General of Police, J&K, Nalin Prabhat today chaired a comprehensive security review meeting at District Police Lines (DPL) Jammu to assess the security situation and operational preparedness in the district.
The meeting was attended by IGP Jammu Tejinder Singh, DIG JSK Range Shridhar Patil, SSP Jammu Joginder Singh, all Zonal SPs, SDPOs, SHOs and PSIs of the 2024 batch.
The meeting reviewed the security grid in urban and rural areas, the crime situation and preparedness of field formations to deal with emerging security and law and order challenges.
The meeting also laid emphasis on better coordination among field formations, proactive policing and ensuring a prompt and effective response to security and law and order situations.
The Jammu Police reiterated its commitment to maintaining a strong security grid, preventing crime and ensuring the safety of people.
