The MoU provides a framework for collaboration in incubation, mentorship, entrepreneurship training, infrastructure access, market linkages and investment facilitation for Neo-Innovative Enterprises.

The MoU was signed by Prof S K Gupta, Director Research, SKUAST-Jammu, Dr Muqbil Burhan, Chairperson, Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Skill Development (CEISD), IIM Jammu and Harvinder Singh, Director, Employment and Managing Director, Mission YUVA, J&K on behalf of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir. Paramjeet Singh, Joint Director of Employment, Jammu on behalf of the Director Employment, J&K / Mission YUVA exchanged the MoU.

The partnership will focus on key sectors including Agritech, Horticulture, Floriculture, Dairy Production, Food Processing, Beekeeping, High-tech Vegetable Cultivation and Livestock. The Agribusiness Incubation Centre will provide startups with access to institutional infrastructure, laboratories, technical assistance, mentorship and market support.

Dr Anil Bhat, Associate Director Research and Nodal Head, Mission YUVA, SKUAST-Jammu, coordinated the signing ceremony. The MoU is part of Mission YUVA's larger initiative to create 500 Neo-Innovative Enterprises over five years (2025-2030) across Jammu and Kashmir. Eligible enterprises can also access seed funding of up to Rs 6 lakh, subject to the prescribed Mission YUVA guidelines and approvals. All statutory officers of SKUAST-Jammu also attended the signing ceremony. A team from YUVA Innovation Hub, IIM Jammu, including Sonia Sharma and Ishan, was present on the occasion.
