KISHTWAR, July 6: Police has attached a Hyundai i20 car worth around Rs 4 lakh and cash amounting to Rs 87,540 under Section 68F(1) of the NDPS Act in connection with an alleged narcotics trafficking case.
The action was taken during the investigation of FIR Number 116/2026, registered at Police Station Kishtwar under Sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act. Investigation revealed that the Hyundai i20 (Registration Number JK17-2770) and the cash were allegedly acquired through proceeds of illicit narcotic drug trafficking.
The attached properties are linked to Rameez Raja and Nobia Nazir, husband and wife, residents of Sarkoot Matta in Kishtwar.
The attachment was executed by the SHO Police Station Kishtwar in the presence of an Executive Magistrate under the supervision of the Deputy SP Headquarters Kishtwar.
