Jammu, April 12: Jammu and Kashmir BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, along with General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Kaul, addressed a meeting of senior party leaders at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
The meeting included vice presidents, general secretaries, and other officials, focusing on strategizing for upcoming party activities and reviewing ongoing organizational programs.
Sat Sharma emphasized the need to strengthen grassroots engagement through sustained organizational efforts, including booth-level outreach, the “Ghar Chalo/Basti Chalo” campaign, and various welfare initiatives. He highlighted the BJP’s commitment to connecting with every section of society through service and ideological clarity.
Focusing particularly on women’s empowerment, Sat Sharma elaborated on the historic Nari Shakti Vandan Act of 2023. He stated that this legislation reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP’s unwavering commitment to ensuring greater participation of women in governance and nation-building. He described the bill as a milestone towards realizing the vision of “women-led development,” which is central to India’s growth narrative.
Sat Sharma urged leaders of the women’s wing and female party representatives to disseminate this message to every household, ensuring that women from all backgrounds are informed about the transformative steps taken by the government for their empowerment.
In his address, Ashok Kaul stressed the importance of organizational discipline, coordination, and effective implementation of party programs. He called on party leaders to actively participate in upcoming events and ensure maximum public involvement.
Highlighting the role of women in strengthening the party structure, Ashok Kaul stated that female workers are the backbone of the BJP’s grassroots network. He encouraged women leaders to intensify their efforts, organize women at the local level, and play an active role in promoting the government’s achievements.
