Kharagpur, April 13: Dilip Ghosh, the BJP candidate from Kharagpur, has launched a fierce attack on the TMC government and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

He also shared his views on the Women’s Reservation Bill.

In a media interaction, Ghosh stated, "The Women’s Reservation Bill will be passed and become law. This is a promise and guarantee from Narendra Modi. Women's rights and safety will be ensured, regardless of opposition. Merely providing a stipend of 1500 rupees is not enough; women deserve respect and rights."

Ghosh emphasized, "The situation across Bengal is the same. Therefore, change is necessary in Bengal. Anti-national forces are very active here. There is chaos throughout the state. Incidents of arson are occurring on buses, trains, and BJP offices. This is all happening with the help of the 'Tukde-Tukde' gang. We will uproot this."

He further claimed, "The entire TMC is embroiled in corruption. After the formation of a BJP government, everyone who violates the law and engages in corruption will be punished. Now, Narendra Modi’s guarantee is here. People will trust this. Mamata Banerjee is on her way out of power."

Ghosh added, "We are committed to inclusive development. Prime Minister Modi is a leader for the entire nation, and under his leadership, the BJP government is providing good governance. We want to be part of this journey."

Earlier on Sunday, Ghosh mentioned that the police are still not assisting the Election Commission. He alleged that several police officers in Kharagpur are intimidating voters to pressure them into voting for the TMC. There has been a longstanding fear that bombs, guns, and money would be used in the elections. This fear is now becoming a reality, raising questions about the fairness of the elections.

Meanwhile, Odisha’s Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling, who visited Kharagpur, stated, "Change is coming to West Bengal. Everyone believes that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Bengal will develop. Our election manifesto places special emphasis on health."
