Gandhi outlined five guarantees for the people of Puducherry, including a monthly assistance of ₹2000 for unemployed youth. He pledged to create 30,000 new jobs in both government and private sectors. Additionally, the maximum age limit for government job recruitment will be raised to 40 years. Furthermore, every family will receive health insurance coverage of ₹20 lakh.

He emphasized that these are not hollow promises but rather the foundation for dignity and security. “Whenever I visit Puducherry, you shower me with love and affection. There is an emotional bond between the people of Puducherry and my family. This is not just a political relationship; it is deep and longstanding, built on love and mutual respect. I am committed to ensuring that the voice of Puducherry drives this beautiful state. Let us create a government that truly represents the voice of Puducherry,” he said.

Gandhi also pointed out that Puducherry has become a hub for counterfeit medicines, with large-scale production occurring without any action being taken. These fake drugs are being distributed across the country, which he described as not just corruption but a matter of life and death.

He criticized the BJP for running the state remotely, claiming that the Lieutenant Governor acts as a tool to disregard the people’s will. Local leaders are being sidelined, and local body elections are not being held. The industrial and textile sectors are declining, leading to the closure of hundreds of factories.

Gandhi reiterated the long-standing demand for full statehood, a promise made by the BJP but not fulfilled. “We are fully committed to granting Puducherry full state status,” he concluded.
