Morocco defeated Canada 3-0, while France edged Paraguay 1-0. Norway stunned Brazil 2-1, and England survived a thrilling encounter to beat Mexico 3-2.
Spain knocked out Portugal with a 1-0 victory, Belgium eased past the United States 4-1, Argentina overcame Egypt 3-2, and Switzerland advanced after defeating Colombia 4-3 in a penalty shootout.
The quarterfinals get underway on Friday (IST) with France taking on Morocco, followed by Spain against Belgium on Saturday. Norway will face England later on Saturday, before Argentina meet Switzerland early on Sunday morning (IST).
