Union Defence minister Rajnath Singh will arrive in Visakhapatnam on July 10 for a two-day visit to attend the commissioning of the Indian Navy's warship Mahendragiri.
According to an official press release, the Defence minister is scheduled to reach Visakhapatnam by air at 6 p.m. on Friday (July 10). He will hold meetings with senior officials and naval personnel from 7 pm onwards.
On Saturday (July 11), he will participate in the commissioning ceremony of Mahendragiri at the Naval Dockyard at 9:50 a.m. Following the event, he will depart for New Delhi.
AP Governor S. Abdul Nazeer will arrive at Visakhapatnam Airport at 9:40 p.m. on Friday (July 10) and stay overnight at a hotel.
On July 11, he will attend the first convocation of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Gurajada Vizianagaram at the Andhra University Convention Centre at 11 a.m. He is scheduled to leave Visakhapatnam by air at 2:55 p.m. the same day.
