Nellore: Markapur district Superintendent of police V. Harshavardhan Raju inspected an accident-prone curve near Nagireddypalli under KK Mitla police station limits and ordered immediate safety measures.
Reflective radium stickers were installed on roadside gates, and convex mirrors set up to improve visibility at the blind turn, aiding motorists during night and low-visibility conditions.
The SP directed officials to identify similar dangerous spots and take corrective steps, including better signage, lighting and speed control. He also called for strict enforcement against minor driving, helmet violations and drunk driving.
