After tasting success with three consecutive ₹100-crore grossers, Pradeep Ranganathan is embarking on a new journey as a producer. The multi-faceted filmmaker has announced his maiden production under his newly launched banner, PR Show.
Having already made his mark as an actor, writer, director and lyricist, Pradeep is now adding another feather to his cap by backing a new-age entertainer featuring Mamitha Baiju (Premalu, Dude) and director-turned-actor Ashwath Marimuthu in the lead roles.
The project also marks the big-screen debut of Anamika Mahi, while Telugu actor Sivaji Sontineni and actress Swasika play pivotal roles.
Interestingly, the film will be helmed by The Alpha Unit, a six-member filmmaking collective comprising Vishal TR, Yash V, Naren Saoda, Chanakkiyan R, Dhanush Kumar and Ilamparithi. Pradeep has written the story, while young music sensation Sai Abhyankkar will compose the soundtrack.
The makers unveiled an announcement video introducing the cast and crew. Pradeep E. Ragav has been entrusted with editing, while Dinesh Purushothaman will handle cinematography.
More details about the film, including its title, shooting schedule and additional cast members, are expected to be announced in the coming days.
