Vijayawada: Inaguduru police on Friday produced YouTuber Prashna Ravan before a court in Machilipatnam.
The YouTuber had first been arrested by the Pithapuram police on July 1 on charges of making derogatory remarks against Jana Sena president and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan.
However, Prashna Ravan got bail.
Before he could walk free Sarpavaram police arrested the YouTuber on July 2.
Prashna Ravan's arrest comes in the wake of a complaint lodged against him by Jana Sena leader Udumula Bujji.
On Friday, July 3, Inaguduru police brought the arrested YouTuber to the police station amidst tight security enroute. Heavy police had been deployed at the police station to avoid any untoward incidents.
Police subsequently produced Prashna Ravan before the Machilipatnam magistrate, where he remains till reports last come in on Friday night.
