Cupertino-based technology major Apple on Tuesday (March 24) launched Apple Business, an all-in-one platform of enterprises.

Apple Business can provide custom offerings for all sizes of organisations.

It is very similar to Google Workspace suite offerings. Unlike the latter, which is a cloud-first service, Apple Business is hardware-oriented unified system, which offer personalised device management, custom domain email, calendars, and productivity apps (Pages, Keynote).And, all these integrating these services directly into Apple hardware, providing a lucrative options such as with devices, storages in subsidised programme.

We've unified Apple's strongest business offerings into one simple, secure platform, delivering key features for organisations in every stage and sector, including built-in device management, collaboration tools, and additional ways to reach new customers. We can't wait to see how Apple Business helps companies spend more time focusing on what they love and connecting deeply with their communities," said Susan Prescott, Apple's vice president of Enterprise and Education Marketing.

With Apple Business, companies can manage their brand name, logo, and key details consistently across Apple Maps, Wallet, and other features and apps.

Prior to Apple Business, the company offered subscription within Apple Business Essentials in the US. However, it offer limited options and in select regions only.

Now, with Apple Business, it is designed to make IT easy - including for small businesses without dedicated IT resources. Apple Business includes new Blueprints to easily set up devices with preconfigured settings and apps, ensuring consistency and security and enabling zero-touch deployment for employees, so that new Apple products are ready to go out of the box. So that, the new employees start their work on their Apple computer or the iPhone from day one without any delays.

Apple Business plans comes with upgraded iCloud storage and support with AppleCare+ for Business, and a companion Apple Business app will allow employees to install apps for work, view colleague contact information, and request support while on the go.

Apple Business expands the availability of Apple Business Manager to more than 200 countries and regions, and supports additional device management features, including Managed Apple Accounts, Employee Management, App Distribution, Admin API and more.

For businesses such as grocery shops, fashion apparel stores, and commercial establishments, Apple Business offers Brand profiles, where owners can manage brand name, logo, and key details consistently across Apple Maps, Wallet, and other features and apps.

With Place cards features, owners can publish detailed location information, hours, and other useful details across Apple Maps, Safari, Spotlight, and more. They will also get a chance to display their brand logo and name on the payment screen when accepting payments directly on iPhone.

Apple will also share valuable insights into how customers discover and interact with businesses on Maps, including search, views, and taps on actions with business owners.

Starting April 14, Apple Business will be available as a free service in the US and 200+ countries and regions to new and existing users of Apple Business Connect, Apple Business Essentials, and Apple Business Manager.
