Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal and South African model-fashion designer Gabriella Demetriades have officially tied the knot after eight years together.
The couple sealed their court marriage in an intimate registered ceremony at the sub-registrar's office in Mapusa, North Goa, on Friday.
Surrounded by a few close friends, the couple opted for a low-key affair. Dressed in casual attire, they completed the legal formalities at around 16:00 hours under Goa's Uniform Civil Code.
According to official sources, the couple obtained special permission from the local court to condone the mandatory 15-day waiting period between initial and final signatures to complete the registry seamlessly.
Arjun (53) and Gabriella (36) have been together since 2018. Having carefully planned for their future, the couple have built a home near Panaji, where they continue to spend most of their time raising their two sons, Arik and Ariv.
For years, the couple has openly rejected societal pressures regarding their wedding and kept their approach to union relaxed and organic.
In his past interviews, Arjun has often been seen saying that they didn't need a marriage license to validate their bond. He said they felt married at heart and preferred to focus on a natural, pressure-free connection.
However, he shocked fans and followers in mid-2025 by announcing his engagement to Gabriella. Appearing on a podcast, Arjun confirmed that he is engaged and the next step is entirely on their own schedule.
This is Rampal's second marriage. Earlier, he was married to supermodel Mehr Jesia for 20 years, which ended with their 2018 separation and subsequent 2019 divorce. He shares two daughters, Mahikaa and Myra, with his ex-wife.
Looking ahead, the newly married couple plans to settle into their new chapter together in Goa with their family.
