The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) increased the amount for FASTag annual pass by Rs 75 starting Wednesday (April 1),

The annual plan, which was introduced last year, was price at Rs 3,000 and will now cost Rs 3,075. It covers up to 1 year of travel or 200 toll crossings across the nation, whichever comes first.

The annual pass has been adopted by increasing number of users, with a total of 56 lakh subscribers.

The new rates will be applicable for non-commercial vehicles valid across 1,150 fee plazas on Highways and Expressways.

Benefits of FASTag annual pass

The FASTag annual pass was introduced in August last year, aiming to eliminate the need to recharge the FASTag account regularly for frequent travellers.

The pass offers a prepaid, one-time payment solution for private, non-commercial vehicles such as cars, jeeps, or vans.

After recharging the annual pass, travellers can enjoy cashless transactions at NHAI toll plazas.

It is beneficial for travellers who move between cities often, such as NCR commuters, and for individuals who frequently return to their hometowns.

How To Buy FASTag Annual Pass
